Analytics

Three readings of how the clinic is behaving. All of them depend on your team marking appointments Completada or No asistió: if nobody marks them, the numbers mean nothing.

No-shows

The percentage of patients who booked and didn't arrive. It's the figure that costs the most money, because a lost slot can't be recovered.

Read it in context:

  • By doctor — if one doctor's no-show rate is far above the rest, it's usually a scheduling issue, not a patient issue.
  • By time band — first thing in the morning and last thing in the afternoon tend to concentrate absences.
  • Against confirmation — a patient who tapped Confirmo and still didn't arrive is a different case from one who never replied.

Volume

Appointments over time. Useful for spotting seasonality and for knowing whether to open more hours or hire.

Compare against the same period last year before drawing conclusions: nearly every clinic has predictable peaks and troughs.

Distribution by status

How appointments split across booked, confirmed, cancelled, completed and no-show.

A high proportion of cancellations is not bad news. A patient who cancels in time frees the slot; the real problem is the one who says nothing. If introducing reminders raises cancellations and lowers no-shows, that is exactly the intended trade.

No-show risk

Some appointments carry a risk indicator. Today it's a simple rule based on patient history, not a predictive model. Treat it as a prompt to call ahead, not as a forecast.
